Nel 2021 alla citt\u00e0 di Diamante \u00e8 stata assegnata la Bandiera blu, entrando cos\u00ec a far parte delle 210 localit\u00e0 marine italiane insignite di tale riconoscimento. Tuttavia non \u00e8 noto il motivo per il quale venne adottato tale nome.
